Mid-Century Rosewood Sideboard by Pieff, c.1970
A striking 1970s sideboard by British furniture maker Pieff combining richly figured rosewood with a polished chrome frame.
The long raised top appears to float above the main cabinet giving this substantial piece a wonderfully architectural feel. Below are two cupboard doors with chrome handles alongside an open drinks/display section with mirrored back and glass shelves.
The rosewood has particularly attractive natural figuring and rich variations in tone while the chrome framework gives the piece its distinctive Mid-Century Modern character.
A statement piece that would work beautifully as a sideboard, drinks cabinet or display piece in a living or dining space.
